Job Description:

Associate, Research/PM Support with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Prepare liability analysis for defined benefit pension plans based on actuarial data under a variety of economic assumption sets. Perform asset/liability modeling and develop interest rate and credit spread hedging strategies for defined benefit pension plans in the US and Canada. Requires: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience in the following: working within the pension actuarial consulting industry on either US or Canadian actuarial valuations; performing financial modeling using Microsoft Excel; working with and advising clients regarding U.S. minimum required pension funding laws; working with US (ASC 715) and international pension accounting standards (IAS 19); and working with either deterministic or stochastic funding and accounting projections for asset/liability modeling. Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $161,000/year - $200,000/year.
