Job Description:
The Associate Director, Business Intelligence Architect will
play a pivotal role in developing and implementing advanced
analytics strategies across global development and driving
data-driven decision-making processes at the portfolio, program and
functional level by leveraging advanced analytics, data
ingesting/cleansing/modeling, and visualization techniques. As the
amount of data available continues to grow and cross-department
alignment and dependency increase, this individual will be
responsible for enhancing how we leverage our data to support
creating, developing and delivering metrics and analytics related
to the operational performance of running clinical trials along
with developing use cases for Artificial Intelligence (AI) within
Business Intelligence tools, supporting advanced analytics
initiatives, and bridging the gap between technical and business
perspectives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks
and Tableau, with a proven ability to quickly understand complex
data sets and identify meaningful connections between data assets.
In addition, there will be significant hands-on coding involved in
making this position successful. A typical day in this role looks
like: Data Modeling and Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain
scalable data models to support Tableau visualizations and advanced
analytics initiatives and align with one source data hub initiative
and strategy Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify
and implement predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions
Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across all
analytics processes and assets Lead initiatives with IT around data
transformation toolsets, data(base/lake) platforms to support the
management/build out of our analytics data layer Data Asset
Management: Quickly understand and analyze complex data sets to
identify relationships and connections between data assets
Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines
and workflows Be a strategic partner to the data governance team
around data strategy development and execution Collaborate with the
data governance team to ensure data assets are properly structured
and documented to align to data strategy Visualization and
Reporting: Create intuitive and impactful visualizations using
business intelligence and advanced analytics tools to communicate
data insights effectively and efficiently Collaborate with DADS
team to support dashboards and report development and timely
diagnose and resolve data issues Advanced Analytics Support:
Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and ad-hoc
requests, including accelerated identification of respective data,
ingestion and modeling to connect components to provide insights
Partner with data scientists and analysts to ensure alignment on
methodologies and outcomes and help bring enhanced capabilities to
the department and organization Communication and Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between engineering/data enablement teams and DADS
team and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and
deliverables Clearly communicate technical concepts in business
terms and vice versa to ensure mutual understanding AI Integration
and Use Case Development: Identify and implement AI use cases,
including identifying opportunities to combine with data from
business intelligence environments to enhance decision-making
capabilities and provide all inclusive data access to business
users Develop and document AI use cases to support advanced,
proactive analytics that align with business objectives and provide
measurable value. This role may be for you if: Hands-on experience
with Databricks for data engineering and analytics workflows
Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard
creation Experience with programming languages such as Python,R and
SQL Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability
to quickly understand and interpret complex data sets. Excellent
communication skills to translate technical insights into business
value. Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including
machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining/profiling
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering
high-quality work In order to be considered qualified for this role
, minimum of a Bachelors Degree and 10 years of relevant
experience. A Masters degree degree with 8 years of relevant

- $252,800.00
