These areas deliver an incredible amount of value to our customers and generate strong revenue for the company and as such, the potential for growth within this space presents a unique opportunity.Who are you:You are an experienced full stack engineer who enjoys both leading projects and being an individual contributor / technical expertYou execute well with a high degree of individual ownership, but are also adept working as part of a teamYoure interested in the new developments of the open source communityYou collaborate with your peers to deliver high-quality and customer impacting solutions What you'll do:Work with product owners to understand desired initiatives and implement application capabilitiesContribute to the web platform, codebase, and developer experience that supports capitaloneshopping.com and other internal initiativesOwn delivery of features and system enhancements from technical design through production deployment and support to ensure a fast and reliable experience for our customersBring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering communityCapital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeAt least 4 years of experience in Software EngineeringAt least 2 years of experience with Node.js and ReactAt least 1 year of experience with Relational and NoSQL databasesAt least 1 year of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience developing web applications using JavaScriptExperience developing cloud native servicesExperience using modern build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Docker, etc. At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
