Job Description:

Berkshire Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. As a CNA at Berkshire Post Acute, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of our patients. This role requires a mix of clinical skills and interpersonal effectiveness to ensure a comfortable and healing atmosphere for our patients. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens. Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff. Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support. Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients and staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Physical stamina and ability to lift or move patients Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation methods Basic clinical skills (e.g., taking vital signs, proper handwashing techniques) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred but not required.
