Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care and support within our rehabilitation and skilled nursing care units. The ideal candidate will assist in daily clinical tasks under the supervision of our nursing and medical staff, helping to implement healthcare plans and ensuring the comfort and wellness of our patients. This position requires an individual passionate about patient care and capable of carrying out tasks with compassion and efficiency. Assist in the examination and monitoring of patients, record vital signs, and update patient health records. Administer medications as directed by the healthcare provider and perform routine laboratory tests. Prepare and handle medical instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization and proper maintenance. Assist patients with daily needs, including dressing, mobility, and hygiene, enhancing patient comfort and support rehabilitation goals. Provide patient education on medication regimes, dietary plans, and physical activities suited to individual health needs. Proven ability to handle medical instruments Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team Experience with electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
