MedCadre is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York. Interventional Radiology ~ Discipline: RN ~ Shift: 10 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN - Interventional Radiology Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Shift Schedule: Day Shift -8:00 AM-6:30 PM Position Type: Local & Travel The Interventional Radiology Nurse plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. This position requires a skilled nursing professional who is adept at managing patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Administer urgent care as needed, ensuring timely interventions for any complications that may arise. Utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and communication with healthcare team members. Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, providing support to physicians and ensuring patient safety. Participate in critical care transport of patients as required, maintaining a high standard of care during transfers. Perform suturing as needed post-procedure, ensuring proper wound care and patient education on recovery. Engage in teaching hospital activities, mentoring nursing students or new staff members as appropriate. Current nursing license with relevant certifications in interventional radiology or critical care preferred. Proven experience in urgent care or critical care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with neonatal ventilator management and airway management techniques is an asset. Strong skills in IV insertion and proficiency in medical terminology are essential for effective communication. training may be provided.
