Job Description:
The Registered Nurse, Operating Room provides direct
intra-operative patient care within a safe, efficient, and
compassionate environment.
Demonstrates broad surgical knowledge, understanding of anatomy,
physiologic changes, and risk factors, while anticipating patient
and team needs.
Performs circulating duties independently, evaluates patient
safety, outcomes, and costs, and quickly initiates appropriate
interventions.
Acts as a preceptor, teaching new staff, students, or visitors.
Requires an unencumbered Oklahoma RN license, BLS certification,
and willingness to obtain ACLS within 6 months.
Previous OR experience, computer skills, and CPSI knowledge are
preferred.
This is a safety-sensitive position.
