Job Description:

Job Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.Manages care of patients.Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.



Schedule PM-7:30 AM
Every Other Weekend-Required.
1 Holiday/Per season.
No on Call.

At least 1 year experience working in level 2 or 3 NICU-Required.
BLS-aha and NRP- Required.

This is a NICU (Level 2 Intermediate Special Care Nursery).
RN will be REQUIRED to float between Nursery and Well-baby Nursery only.

Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer.
Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priorit

Skills:


Minimum qualifications required for : 1+ year of experience in related specialty - Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the state of NJCurrent CPR Health Care Provider CertificationFor TELE Positions - ACLS is required

BLS-aha and NRP- Required.
At least 1 year experience working in level 2 or 3 NICU-Required.

Education:

This is a Nursery/Level 2 SICU. -RN will be REQUIRED to float between Nursery and SICU only.1:4 Patient Ratio - SICU. -1:8 Patient Ratio -Well Baby

Knowledge, Education and Skills Required: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Required. Current licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing - Required. BSN - Preferred
