individuals possible.Sr. Manager, Collections & CreditT As our Sr.
Manager, Collections & Credit you will oversee a high performing
team, direct & indirect reports, managing our AR portfolio of over
$200 million. We are looking for someone who has experience leading
large teams across multiple businesses & billing systems, with the
drive to establish processes & collaborate with internal teams up
to senior leadership.** This is a hybrid position based out of
North Bergen, NJ. **WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manage AR portfolio of over $200 million.
- Oversee two collections teams:
- One team of 5 direct reports covering our CFS business line,
New Jersey & LA
- One team of one manager and 8-13 direct reports covering our
intermodal and drayage business, Charlotte, and Dublin OH
- Develop and manage processes to find synergies across both
teams, leverage benefits of multiple billing and ERP systems.
- Build relationships across the business - finance, operations
and commercial to resolve and improve collections, suggest
improvements for billing processes, dispute management.
- Establish reporting for consolidated and segmented AR, DSO by
business unit and by customer.
- Quickly analyze and interpret aging data, identify customer
trends and methods of improvement.
- Minimize bad debt, collaborate with corporate accounting team
for periodic write-offs.
- Establish processes for tighter credit standards in our
intermodal and drayage businesses by building a new process to
analyze and establish credit, maintain reporting, collaborate with
sales teams for customers nearing maximum credit usage.
- Collaborate with Treasury and IT for improvements in customer
payments automation.STG Logistics reserves the right to change

- Transportation / Logistics experience preferred
- Strong Excel required - pivot table and VLOOKUP skills.
- Detailed and well organized to manage high volume in a
fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Places a high value on Customer Service
- Ability to develop and grow the team, improve their skills,
facilitate collaboration
- Minimum 8 years in high volume collections
- Minimum 4 years managing a large team
- 4-year accounting / finance / economics degree
