Job Description:
Specialized Fire is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm CAD Application
Designer to join our Engineering & Design team. This position
requires expertise in drafting detailed fire alarm system designs
using CAD software, tailoring solutions to meet client-specific
requirements, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. In
this role, you will collaborate with project managers and
engineering teams to innovate and enhance fire safety measures. If
you are passionate about protecting lives through precise and
strategic design, we encourage you to apply. Develop and modify
fire alarm system designs using CAD software. Collaborate with
engineers and project managers to define project requirements and
integrate fire safety systems effectively. Ensure all designs meet
regulatory compliance and project specifications. Revise and update
existing drawings and documentation based on changed conditions and
customer feedback. Coordinate with the fabrication team for
accurate and efficient implementation. Proficient in AutoCAD and
other relevant CAD software. Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems
and applicable safety codes (NFPA 72, IBC, etc.). Ability to
interpret blueprints and technical documents. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, capable of
working collaboratively in a team environment. Certified Fire Alarm
Designer (CFAD), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS),
AutoCAD Certification
