Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available
within an elementary school setting in Quakertown, PA, specifically
focused on supporting students in grades 3-5 with emotional support
needs. This role requires a fully active Pennsylvania teaching
certificate, as the district does not sponsor emergency permits.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instruction and support to
students in an emotional support classroom, grades 3-5. Collaborate
with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust teaching
strategies accordingly. Foster a positive, inclusive learning
environment tailored to the emotional and educational needs of each
student. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with
parents and staff. Qualifications: Fully active Pennsylvania
teaching certificate in Special Education (required). Experience
working with elementary school-aged students, preferably in
emotional support or special education settings. Strong
communication and classroom management skills. Ability to work
collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Location: Quakertown,
PAContract Duration: ASAP to June 10, 2026Schedule: 35 hours per
week, Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM with a 30-minute
