Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the
current school year, supporting elementary students from PreK to
1st grade. This contract role is based in Waterbury, CT, and offers
an opportunity to work closely with a caseload of 25 to 30 young
learners, providing essential speech and language support during a
critical early developmental stage. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
speech and language assessments to identify student needs. Develop
and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
support student progress. Maintain detailed records of
interventions and student progress. Participate in team meetings
and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Qualifications: Valid certification and licensure as a
Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with
elementary-aged students, preferably PreK to 1st grade. Ability to
manage a caseload of 25-30 students effectively. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with
school-based speech and language therapy best practices. Location
and Schedule: Position located in Waterbury, CT. Full-time hours,
starting ASAP through the end of the school year. Elementary school
setting focusing on early childhood education. This role requires a
dedicated and compassionate professional to support young students
