Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves as a mission-critical partner to more than 90,000 customers through our footprint of 125+ branches.Imperial Dade is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented college student to join our corporate headquarter team as a summer intern starting June 15th and working through August 15th, 2023. The candidate must be organized, have an analytical mind, able to work on several projects across multiple departments, able to grasp concepts quickly and able to take direction. They'll be expected to work for multiple managers in the accounting and finance department, exposing them to multiple aspects of the specialty distribution business. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.Responsibilities:Assist accounting departments with quarterly financial reporting.Provide inventory support and compliance projects.Collaborate with tax department on compliance work.Research technical accounting topics.Document existing internal control processes.Ability to assist with ad hoc projects treasury projects.Qualifications:Currently working toward the completion of a bachelor's degree as an accounting major.Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Power Point.Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.At Imperial Dade, we offer an exciting work environment and invite motivated and talented individuals with a passion for excellence to join our team.
