Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of
Nursing to oversee nursing operations at a substance abuse clinic.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the
delivery of high-quality nursing care to individuals undergoing
treatment for substance abuse disorders. The ideal candidate will
have strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment
to providing compassionate care to patients in need.*Key
Responsibilities:** Provide leadership and oversight to the nursing
staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses
(LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), ensuring
compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and
regulations.* Develop and implement nursing care protocols and
procedures tailored to the unique needs of patients receiving
substance abuse treatment, with a focus on safety, effectiveness,
and patient-centered care.* Collaborate with the medical director,
clinical staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop
comprehensive treatment plans for patients, integrating nursing
care with medical, behavioral health, and social services.* Ensure
that nursing assessments, medication management, and other nursing
interventions are performed in accordance with best practices and
evidence-based standards of care.* Oversee medication-assisted
treatment programs, including the administration and monitoring of
medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, in
compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical guidelines.*
Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff on topics
related to substance abuse treatment, addiction medicine, harm
reduction, and trauma-informed care.* Participate in quality
improvement initiatives and program evaluations to assess the
effectiveness of nursing interventions and identify areas for
improvement.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of
nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses, ensuring
compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.* Serve as a
liaison between nursing staff, medical providers, administrative
leadership, and external stakeholders, facilitating communication
and collaboration to optimize patient care.* Foster a culture of
teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning among nursing
staff, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment that
values diversity and respect.*Requirements:** Bachelor's degree in
Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; Master's degree in
Nursing or related field preferred.* Current license to practice as
a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.* At least 1 year
in a leadership or management role in a healthcare setting,
preferably in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health.*
Previous experience in substance abuse or behavioral health
preferred.* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of
nursing professionals.* Demonstrated ability to collaborate
effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
to achieve common goals._Please note- The annual base salary range
is $100k to $125k. Actual compensation offered to the successful
candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic
location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among
